Beau Jest

Beau Jest is an hilarious, heart-warming play and comes to London for the first time, following its successful Off Broadway two-and-a-half year run.

Sarah Goldman, a lovely young school teacher, wants to please her parents, so she invents the perfect Jewish boyfriend, whom she believes will be the man of her mother’s dreams. When her parents insist on meeting the man, Sarah hires Bob, an actor, to pretend to be her ‘beau’. Although the plan works flawlessly for a time, a combination of some hilarious situations leads to their lives being irrevocably changed.
